March 19, 2008. This week three new articles have gone on-line in our December 2007 and March/April 2008 newsletters. In the December 2007 issue phase II obesity results on a GLP-1 agonist are now on-line. In the March/April 2008 newsletter two new articles have just been published. The first covers both a dipeptidyl-peptidase inhibitor and an SGLT2 inhibitor for diabetes. The second article provides details on a phase II interleukin 1-b inhibitor, also for diabetes. Several more will be on-line this week and a more in-depth press release will be published next week on this page.

March 12, 2008 -- We have begun putting articles on-line in our March-April drug update series, which covers drug company reports from February forward. We are taking a "shotgun" approach, publishing data in our 2007 newsletters which were on-hold while we updated the site. At the same time we are adding new information into our 2008 newsletters.

What follows are additions to our subscriber newsletters since the beginning of the year:
EASD HIGHLIGHTS     September 2007. Highlights from the European Society of Diabetes (EASD) annual meeting.
FALL DRUG UPDATE    December 2007. Company presentations from the Bio Investor Forum October 9 - 11, 2007, the Lazard Health Conference November 27 - 28, 2007, and various other R&D day conferences. Highlights include data a new 5HT2C agonist for weight loss which in early trials has been shown to have a better selectivity and side effect profile than lorcaserin. Also details on two late stage "combination therapy" drugs for obesity that have shown very promising weight loss results.
WINTER DRUG UPDATE Part I: January/February 2008. Company presentations from the JP Morgan Health Conference January 7-10, 2008. Highlights include updates on a leptin combination drug for weight loss, another drug for weight loss that acts on brain neurotransmtters -- both of which provide superior weight loss to current drugs on the market. Also in this series, a diabetes drug that works on the oxidative inflammatory cascade, and a resveratrol-type drug, also for diabetes.
WINTER DRUG UPDATE Part II: March/April 2008. Company presentations from the BIO CEO Health Conference February 11 - 13, 2008. Highlights include an update on a steroidal hormone drug for type-2 diabetes.

Additional presentations are currently being readied for publication in all three issues of the drug update series. We will have an additional update for you in the next week or so, but new articles are being put on-line on a regular basis. Links to the articles above will only work if you are a subscriber to our newsletter.

We will also have further updates to our drug databases in the next two weeks. They are currently updated with information through January.

February 14, 2008 -- We are in the process of publishing articles for our fall drug review from last December and winter drug review for January and February. Please see the archives to access articles now on-line from these issues. A press release will be published next week after all the articles are on-line.

January 30, 2008 -- We were having problems with our subscription and renewal forms. Those problems have now been fixed.

A press release and new article on a reseveratrol based drug will be going on-line soon. More information about the recent changes to this site and our 2008 schedule will also be available then.

December 26, 2007. Abstracts from the Endocrine Society 2007 meeting are now on-line. (subscribers)

December 10, 2007. Our site renovation is now complete except for a few pages which will be updated in the next week. Now that the update is all but finished our search engine, which has been customized to provide more complete search results, is back on-line. Over the next month a great deal of information will be going on-line bringing us up-to-date from the time we began renovations.

The following have gone on-line in the past week:
New drug pipeline information. New information is being entered in our database on a daily basis as we update our site. (subscribers)
Abstracts and posters from the June American Diabetes Association scientific sessions. (subscribers)
Our list of 2008 medical and scientific meetings. (unrestricted)

Starting next week we will have some individual drug updates on-line.
